Review:
The Dish 811 is a High Definition Dish Network satellite receiver with intergratred HDTV off-air tuner . The 811 supports 481p, 720p and 1080i high definition outputs. With a local high definition antenna and the Dish Player 811, you can watch local high definition broadcast without the need of an external HDTV Tuner. For most consumers the 921 is a better choice. The Dual Tuner DVR 921 provides HDTV abilities with the added features of a dual tuner DVR. If you do not need DVR functions and only need a basic HDTV satellite receiver, then the Dish 811 is a prime choice.
